Chiclayo, Trujillo

Chiclayo and Trujillo are the both biggest and modern coastal cities of the Northern Peru. The Mochica and Chimu cultures were living in this region in the past. There are many archeological rests such as the biggest clay city in Chan Chan in Trujillo and the «Huacas» (pyramids) of the dragon, the moon and the sun, «El Brujo» between Trujillo and Chiclayo and near Chiclayo the famous Lord of Sipan, Sican, the pyramids of Tucume and Batan Grande. 

The finded objects in the archeological sites, mainly ceramic pieces, are shown in the «Bruening Museum» and in the resently build musem «Tumbas Reales de Sipan» demostrating the world of the Lord of Sipan in a spectacular way. This museum is considered one of the modernst museums of the world.
